Fitness, Fun, and Fundraising!

Mileage Club is Ventana Vista’s weekly exercise program, proudly sponsored by the VVFFO. Every Friday during lunch recess, students gather on the lower field to run laps or join organized exercises. Each lap is 1/10 of a mile, and participants earn collectible charms for their Mileage Club necklaces as they track their progress.

​

This year, Mileage Club is also a fundraiser—all proceeds will directly support our teachers, students, and the greater Ventana Vista community through:

• Teacher grants

• Classroom stipends

• Field trips

• Campus improvements

• And more! 
   

Goals for 2025–26

• 100% student participation with fun surprises, silly incentives, student council support, and a crew of energetic dads leading the charge.

• $10,000 fundraising goal to strengthen our classrooms and community.

• Golden Foot Awards for the top three runners in each grade.

 

How to Participate

1. Fundraise! Encourage your child to ask for pledges or direct donations. A donation link will be emailed to you in October.

2. Volunteer! Join us on the field to help scan laps, manage tokens, ensure safe running, and cheer on our students. 

3. Encourage your child to participate!

 

Key Dates

Kickoff: Friday, October 31 – Día de los Muertos Run (all participants receive a candy skull charm)​

 

Mileage Club takes place during recess at lunch on almost all Fridays between October 31 and March 6.

Session One: 10:45 AM - 11:55 AM

• Kindergarten: 11:00–11:30 AM

• 1st Grade: 11:00–11:20 AM

• 2nd & 3rd Grade: 11:30–11:50 AM

 

Session 2: 11:40 AM - 1:20 PM

• 4th & 5th Grade: 12:50–1:10 PM
